Samuel Nwachukwu, also known as CalledOut Music is a British music producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Hampshire, England.[1]
Biography edit
Early and personal life edit
Samuel was born on April 18, 1995, in Nigeria, where he spent his formative years before relocating to the UK with his family at the age of 12. His musical journey commenced at the age of 7 when his father gifted him a piano, sparking his passion for music[2]. He began honing his skills by playing the piano at his local church. Despite the demands of his education, Samuel dedicated countless hours to composing music in his bedroom. His experience as a music director in various UK churches further nurtured his talent. Eventually, Samuel made the significant decision to pursue a solo music career, marking the birth of 'CalledOut Music' on his 21st birthday in 2016 with the release of his debut single, 'Working On Me.' The name 'CalledOut' was chosen with the intention of inspiring individuals to recognize their calling for service to God. He is signed to an independent record label called HFP Music. [2] [3]
Samuel holds a degree in B.Sc Accounting & Finance from the University of Kent.
He married his long-term girlfriend on 15th April 2024.
Musical career edit
Since his debut, CalledOutMusic has released several albums and EPs, including 'In Due Time (Genesis),' 'Portraits,' 'My Beautiful Reality,' and 'RADICAL.' With over 50,000,000 streams on Spotify[4], his music has garnered attention. He has collaborated with other artists, including Samm Henshaw, Guvna B, Ric Hassani, Pompi, Limoblaze, Becca Folkes, and Triple O. Additionally, his "Love Around" and "I Am Free" challenges gained traction on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
Tours edit
Following his first headline concert in London on Nov. 10th 2018 CalledOutMusic has expanded his reach through headline concerts and tours across Africa (including Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya), as well as Europe(covering cities like Ireland, Paris, Berlin and Hamburg), North America (encompassing the United States[5] with Joe Mettle[6] and Canada). His second world tour ended in March 2023 in London.[7] [8] The event was dubbed "a night to remember."[9]
