The Bosch Home Comfort Group is a European provider of smart, sustainable and energy-efficient products. The portfolio includes solutions for heating, cooling, well-being and process heat - including heat pumps, heat pump hybrid solutions, water heaters, energy management and smart homes.[2] The company, based in Wetzlar, is a fully owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. It goes back to the manufacturer Junkers & Co., which was taken over by Bosch in 1932 and merged with Buderus AG, another company with a long tradition that was taken over in 2003. The Junkers brand was continued for a long time but was then transferred to the Bosch brand in 2019.[3] The former Buderus AG operates under the name Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH and continues to belong to Robert Bosch GmbH.[4] In 2023, the company was renamed from "Bosch Thermotechnik" to "Bosch Home Comfort Group". The legal entity "Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH" remains unchanged and continues to be used in all legal matters.[5]

The Bosch Home Comfort Group has international and regional brands under its roof: Bosch Home Comfort, Buderus, IVT, Vulcano and Worcester Bosch.[6] The defined corporate purpose of the Bosch Home Comfort Group is: "Make. Home. Comfort. Green."[7]
