The Black Arnauts (Albanian: Shqiptarët e Zinj) were an Afro-Albanian community, located in Ulqin. This community originated in the 1800s, during the Ottoman period, as a result of the Ottoman slave trade. Enslaved Africans were brought to The Balkans, where they eventually integrated with the local Albanian population.[1]
