The Battle of Mangrol was fought between Kingdom of Jaipur and Maratha Empire supported by kingdom of Kota some months after their lost in Third battle of Panipat.

Battle of Mangrol was a military conflict between Madho Singh and Malharrao Holkar.[1]
Madho Singh attacked Malharrao Holkar with his 10,000 troops both troops clashed at Mangrol and a fierce battle took place but rajputs were ultimately defeated by maratha general Malharrao with his 6000 troops (3000 man from Indore and 3000 provided by Zalim Singh).[1][2]
As mentioned by Jadunath Sarkar Rajput army fought bravely but as the maratha army began to defeat them more than 400 rajput man fled from the battle.[2]
The further dispute was sought by Madho Singh by paying tribute to Marathas.[1][2] Thus Jaipur becoming a tributary to them until 1770[2]
