Aodhan Doherty (born 3 May 2006) is an Irish footballer who plays for Blackburn Rovers. He is a Northern Ireland youth international.[1]
Club career
editIn September 2023, he signed a three-year professional contract with Linfield.[2] He made his senior Linfield that month, in the County Antrim Shield. He went on to make his debut in the NIFL Premiership that season.[3] He made a total of 13 appearances in all competitions for Linfield as an 18 year-old during the 2023-24 season.[4]
He signed a three-year contract with EFL Championship side Blackburn Rovers in June 2024.[5]
International career
editHe represented Northern Ireland at U17 level.[6] He made his debut for Northern Ireland U-18 against England U18 at St. George’s Park in May 2024.[7][8]
