Andy Craig is an English former cellist who played in the band Electric Light Orchestra.[1] He played with the band from 1971 until 1972.
Career
editElectric Light Orchestra
editCraig joined the Electric Light Orchestra in October of 1971 and played in their first concert in the Greyhound, Croydon.[2][3] He quit alongside several other ELO musicians such as Roy Wood, Hugh McDowell, and Bill Hunt during the ELO 1 tour in 1972,[4] with Craig leaving after the Italian tour.[5] Despite leaving around the same time, Craig did not join their band Wizzard,[6] with him instead quiting music business overall.[7] After his departure, Craig was replaced by Colin Walker.[8]
