Draft:Andreea (Cristina) Preda

Andreea (Cristina) Preda, was born in Bucharest, Romania, on 24th of November 1989.

Andreea Preda is a contemporary art creator. She specializes in oil and acrylic painting, as well as botanical art in watercolor, pastel, and mixed media techniques.

Andreea naturally gravitated towards art, constantly creating various drawings and models. As a child, she would sketch hundreds of clothing designs with the idea of becoming a fashion designer.

However, time and decisions led Andreea away from pursuing an arts-focused education, and she nearly forgot the joy of pencil and brush, leaning instead towards more abstract understandings of life.

In 2008, she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Bucharest, with a degree in Moral Philosophy, and in 2013, she completed her master's dissertation in Applied Ethics. Currently, she works as a project manager.

But art hadn't forgotten Andreea; over time, she had the opportunity to reconnect with it, and her soul exploded into dozens of paintings, techniques, colors, strokes, vibrations, and emotions.

It all began in late 2018 when she became a student at the School of Arts in Bucharest on Strada Răspântiilor, under the guidance of the Ivan siblings (Ruxandra and Alexandru).

Currently, Andreea is a member of Art House Bucharest, where she consistently creates and exhibits alongside her workshop colleagues. Additionally, Andreea is a member of the Association of Plastic Artists in Bucharest and the Watercolor Association of Romania.

Andreea Preda envisions a world of art that is free and unconstrained. Here is a list of exhibitions, where Andreea participated.
