The Amad ranks are among the logistic ranks of the iran army's land force and navy, which are active in the field of personnel support, including food, clothing, and maintenance. At the company level, the commanders' warehouses are selected by the rank-and-file personnel, and at the battalion and brigade level, the staff of the fourth pillar are selected from among the officers and rank-and-file officers. Personnel training is also carried out in Merapesh (support training center) in Tehran. Brigade support battalions are also generally controlled and managed by Amad personnel. The supply line (Amad) in the navy has all the duties and responsibilities as the ground force, and in addition, it is responsible for supporting the parts of all devices, ships, vehicles and consumable items.
