Alison Jane Hall (born November 7, 1991) is a Canadian broadcast journalist known for her work as a reporter on the American syndicated newsmagazine, Inside Edition.[1][2]
Early Life:
Hall, was born in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada the youngest of four children. Her family moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2000 where she graduated high school from St. Mary's Academy in 2009.
Career:
Hall graduated from Canada's premier journalism school, Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson) in 2013 and went onto intern at ABC News in New York.
After her internship, she did a brief stint at Global News in Winnipeg, Canada as a reporter and producer. A year later, she returned to New York to work as a story coordinator at Inside Edition. Hall rose to producer and eventually on-air correspondent over a decade at the show. During her tenure at Inside Edition she has also appeared on Canada's CTV News Channel[3], The Social (CTV), Britain's Good Morning Britain (ITV), Australia's Today Show (Nine Network) and acted as an anchor and host on Law and Crime (L&C Network)[4].
Hall has created several viral videos, including a Covid19 test experiment[5] and heartwarming Christmas Road trip story about her journey getting home for Christmas with strangers.[6]
Personal Life:
Hall married in New York in 2022. She has no children.
