Alicia Agneson (born 26 February 1996) is a Swedish actress and writer based on London. On television, she is known for her role in the History series Vikings (2017–2020). Her films include The Courier (2020).
Early life
editAgneson was born and raised in the small town of Eskilstuna, Södermanland County. She began acting, singing and dancing as a child in minor stage productions in Sweden and moved to London at the age of fifteen to pursue her career.[1]
Career
editIn 2013, Agneson made her UK stage debut in titular role of a Cinderella pantomime at the Exeter Corn Exchange.[2] Agneson continued pursuing a musical career as a jazz singer in a band called One For My Baby with then boyfriend, Kaine Horey. [3] She went on to star in two music videos from Alvarez Kings "Do This With Me" and "Fear To Feel", also produced by Horey.
She made her television debut when she was cast in History Channeldrama Vikings, appearing in the fifth and sixth seasons as the slave turned Queen Freydis and later as Russian princess Katia.[4][5]
Agneson made her feature film debut as Eva in Little Kingdom (2019), an independent Slovakian film.
In 2019, Agneson collaborated with Lark & Berry on a jewellery collection of cultured stones.[6][7] She also declared she only wears secondhand and recycled clothes in order to help our environment.
Agneson continued her acting career in The Courier (2019) and The Obscure Life of The Grand Duke of Corsica starring peter Stormare set to premiere in 2020.[8]
Personal life
editAs of 2023, Agneson is in a relationship with Norwegian actor Herman Tømmeraas.[9]
