Alex Babajanian (also known as Aleks Babajanyan), born on February 28, 1998, is an Armenian real estate agent, expert, and economist. He started his real estate career in 2018 at the age of 20, working for a startup company. Currently, Alex runs his own real estate company in Yerevan, Armenia, called Aparto Real Estate Agency.
Early life
Alex Babajanian was born in the city of Abovyan to the Babajanian family and was raised in the city of Byureghavan in the Kotayk region.
He attended the School of Byureghavan, followed by high school after S. Vardanyan. After graduating in 2015, Alex enrolled at the Armenian State University of Economics. After one year of study, he was called to serve in the army. He served in the army from 2016 to 2018. Upon completing his military service, Alex returned to university and graduated in 2022.
Career
Before entering the real estate industry, Alex engaged in various jobs to earn money in his early life. At the age of 10, he started creating websites and podcast channels to sell them, earning about $500 in a month, which was a significant achievement for a 10-year-old. He also successfully conducted SMM for different companies until the age of 17.
In 2018, shortly after completing his military service, Alex entered the Yerevan real estate market. Despite initially earning just $300 in his first four months, Alex persisted, closing 4-5 sales after a few more days and earning about $5000 in a month. This was a substantial improvement from his previous income of about $75 a month. Within a year of working in real estate, he became the top agent in his agency, completing the most transactions in a year.
After working for that company for about two years, Alex moved to another real estate company in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. He quickly became the top agent in the new agency for the most transactions. Over five years, he received a total of five prizes from two agencies for being the top agent with the most transactions.
Alex dealt with both residential and commercial properties, and he also secured the exclusive selling rights for properties from a developer in the city center of Yerevan. He sold more than 1000 sq.m. in three months, a remarkable achievement in the Yerevan real estate market.
On March 27, 2023, Alex announced the founding of his own real estate firm, Aparto Real Estate Agency. The firm rapidly grew into one of the most active real estate companies in Armenia, leveraging its large social media presence to sell and rent properties in Yerevan.
