Albany Area High School is a rural public high school in Albany, Minnesota. It lies along Interstate 94, and serves the communities of Albany, Avon, Farming, St. Anthony, and St. Martin.[2]
The high school is located within minutes of St. Cloud, a vibrant metro area and several colleges.[3] Class sizes average to about 28.[3] There is a total of 500 students, in grades 9-12. The school offers 43 credits through a College in the Schools program. [2]
Albany Area High School offers a variety of extracurricular activities for students to join. Over 80% of Albany Area High School students participate in extracurricular activities. A full list of extracurricular activities can be found on the school's website. Albany High School is also proud of their community partnerships, with 31 internships offered each year by local businesses.[2]
