Aarne Talvitie (born 11 February 1999) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward for HC TPS in the Finnish Elite League (Liiga).[1] Talvitie was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the sixth round (160th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Playing career edit

Talvitie played as a youth in his homeland within the Espoo Blues organization until the year 2018. During his last season in Blues, he was the captain of the U20 team and led the league in goals scored with 34+24=58.

Talvitie played in the NCAA Division 1 for the Penn State Nittany Lions men's ice hockey team for three seasons between 2018 and 2021, before signing a two-year NHL contract with the New Jersey Devils[2].

Between 2020 and 2023, Talvitite played three seasons in the AHL for Devils' affiliate teams Binghamton Devils and Utica Comets[3].

Talvitie moved back to his homeland in 2023 after signing a two-year contract with HC TPS[4]
