YouTube Journey

A.B.S.E.

edit

Through the year 2018, Aareen Savla was first introduced to the realm of the microworld through popular invertebrate YouTuber, singer and actor Mikey Bustos, who goes under the stage name AntsCanada. In October 2019, the first video for A.B.S.E. was filmed within the residence of Aareen Savla. A.B.S.E. stands for "Aareen's Biological Science Experiments", with the channel at first only encompassing videos of invertebrate findings and exotic pet keeping and later expanding further into the realms of invertebrate zoology and general biology. He has gone through various styles of videos- with voiceovers, webinars, live encounters, voiceless-with-text and ultimately video presentations and essays- being his style of choice in his current era. His style of presentation is known to be energetic and humourous, often like a radio host or reporter.

The Creatureverse was the term a subscriber of his gave to his animal studio- where he used to keep his various pet invertebrates ranging from spiders, centipedes, millipedes and mantises as well as his filming space.

Furthermore, his videography is accompanied by his photography hobby- posting both phone and camera shots on his Instagram Account, through the username @thecreatureverse.

He heavily credits the work of Brave Wildnerness, AntsCanada, Clint's Reptiles, The Dark Den, Exotics Lair and Lindsay Nikole as his primary source of inspiration for his style of presentation and content covered in his videos.

The Scientifique Pros

edit

In April 2020, Aareen started a second YouTube channel due to popular demand from his audience to launch one related to other sciences such as physics and chemistry- collaborating with his friend Aarav Zaveri (another student based in Mumbai) to make it happen. It went by many names: such as The Science Kings, The Lords of Science, The Science Bros and ultimately settling on this name, which utilises the French word for "scientific" for reasons unknown.

The channel did not see much success, and so far there have been multiple hiatuses from this account- which is inactive for the most part. Despite this, they are still keen on keeping it alive and perhaps reviving it in the future.
