The ALCO FCA-3 (also known as the Pakistan Class ARP)[1] is a six-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) solely for Pakistan Railways.[1]

The ALCO FCA-3 was built solely for the Pakistan Railways and was the equivalent of an FPA-2 riding on A1A-A1A trucks.[1]

The class was introduced in 1977 and a total of 23 units were produced by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO). These locomotives have a maximum speed of 120 km/h and an installed capacity of 1,600 hp (1,200 kW; 1.2 MW).[1]
