The 2024 Motorsport Australia NSW Formula Car Championship is scheduled to be the 14th season of the NSW Formula Car Championship that is run as a fully affiliated Motorsport Australia State Championship since 2011.[1]
The championship is planned to be run over five weekends, starting on 27 April at Winton Motor Raceway and finishing on 22 November at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.[2] 2024 will see the series continue its cooperation with the Australian Formula Open series, with the championships sharing grids on multiple occasions.
Entry list edit
Drivers will compete divided into three classes based on car age and performance. Class A, also called the Classic Class, caters to cars built in 1998 and earlier, while Class B, the Cup Class, allows cars built between 1999 and 2004. Class C, the Open Formula Class, is open for all other cars.[3]

Scoring system edit
Three races are held per race meeting. The first two races of the weekend are shorter and therefore award less points. Grids for these races are formed by taking each driver's fastest and second fastest lap from qualifying respectively. Points are awarded per class for all finished cars as follows:[4]
