Doug Davies (speedway rider)

Doug Davies (6 August 1936 – 8 June 2000) was an international motorcycle speedway rider from South Africa.[1][2][3]

Speedway career edit

Davies reached the final of the Speedway World Championship in the 1956 Individual Speedway World Championship.[4]

He rode in the top tier of British Speedway from 1954–61, riding for Birmingham Brummies and New Cross Rangers.[5]
