Davron Austin Cameron (born 8 June 1996 in George, South Africa) is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with the Eastern Province Kings.[1] His regular position is scrum-half, but he can also play as a winger, fullback or a centre.

Youth edit
As a scholar at Kingswood College in Grahamstown, Cameron represented was selected to represent Eastern Province at a number of youth tournaments; he was the right winger for their Under-16 side at the Grant Khomo Week in 2012 and the fullback for an Eastern Province Country Districts side that played at the Under-18 Academy Week the following year, scoring one try in a 70–28 victory over Griquas in their final match at the tournament.[2] In 2014, he played for Eastern Province Country Districts at the premier high schools rugby union competition in South Africa, the Under-18 Craven Week, held in Middelburg. He scored one try in the tournament in a 15–33 defeat to the Griffons.[3]
In 2015, he was among the intake of the Eastern Province Academy. He started two matches for the Eastern Province U21 team in the 2015 Under-21 Provincial Championship Group A, scoring and converting a try against Golden Lions U21 in the second of those.[4] He then dropped an age-group to make three appearances as a replacement for the Eastern Province U19 side, in a season that saw the team go the whole way, winning the 2015 Under-21 Provincial Championship Group A for the first time in their history.[5]
Eastern Province Kings edit
In 2016, Cameron was one of several youngsters that were included in the Eastern Province Kings squad that competed in the 2016 Currie Cup qualification series.[6] He was named on the replacement bench for their first match of the season against the SWD Eagles,[7] coming on in the 55th minute of the match to make his first class debut.[8] He also played off the bench in their next match against the Boland Cavaliers[9] before starting his first match, a 31–18 win over Namibian side the Welwitschias in Windhoek a fortnight later.[10]
