Christian Bornemann (* October 22, 1965 in Dortmund)[3] is a German Windsurfer.[4] He holds since 2014 the German speed record and is one of the ten fastest windsurfers in the world.[5][6][7]

Bornemann grew up in Dortmund and learned to surf at the age of 14. At the age of 13 he came for the first time in contact with windsurfing. He completed his first professional race at the age of 30.[8][9] He currently lives in Dortmund and works as a dentist.[10]
