On 1 February 2023, Busola Tejumola, the executive head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, said Cheta'm consists of 130 episodes, in her statement during the press conference held in Lagos.[3]
Premiere and release edit
On 9 February 2024, Showmax premiered the series, ahead of the launch of the new Showmax 2.0 to be activated on 12 February 2024.[2]
