Champavati Fort Chachaura

Champavati Fort is situated near Bageshwar Dhaam, Chachaura in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh.

Champavati Fort is a State Protected Monument and this is only one Fort of Madhya Pradesh, which was made on Queen's name & this Fort is protected by Archeology Department Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

This Fort is built around 17th century and constructed in approximately 1 Hectare land.

The Fort is situated on Hill has a structured high fortification walls and strong bastions, whose inner courtyard was used for residence and outer courtyard was used for official work.

The Fort has been conserved and given it's original form by Directorate of Archeology Archives and Museums, Madhya Pradesh.
