Why shouldn't this be redefined as the more general concept of a wide area synchronous grid ? The idea of reliability ties it to congestion regulation particular to North America. I don't see why it should be so parochial. If there is some good reason to keep them bunched this way, how about if we make reliablity interconnections a subcat of Wide area synchronous grids? -J JMesserly (talk) 09:08, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
