Waste of resources edit

The entries in this category until now have been about physical waste, such as when something is manufactured, there is trash produced as a byproduct and this is waste.

Another definition of waste is unwise stewardship of resources, such that when something is produced, then perhaps the person doing production is careless and loses lots of resources without actually making waste byproduct of concern. Waste can be unwanted byproduct, but it can also be the undesirable loss of the starting material which can be "wasted" when it is consumed in excess of need.

I just put Category:Waste of resources into this category. It does not quite fit right now because it is this different use of the term "waste", but I do not know where else to put it. Blue Rasberry (talk) 15:34, 21 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
