Merge with Computer and video games in production? edit

No: This template & category are meant to encompass all upcoming products, If you look you will see films and other items listed. It just so happens that many of the video game people are using this marker. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 04:27, 2005 July 27 (UTC)

In addition, the target for the merge does not have any sort of merge tags. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 04:31, 2005 July 27 (UTC)
It seems clear to me that films and interactive games both need their own template. "Future films" and "Future games", respectively. --The Merciful 12:31, 27 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. I've removed the merge tag. However, if the category comptuer and video games in production is a sub-category of future products, we should probably remove the future products tag from video games here (as they're grandchildren of this category now). --BradBeattie 17:15, 28 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
I think video games should first have their own template, and then replace the future product tags with it. Removing the future product tag first would mean re-finding all the games in-development that weren't in the games in production category. That is no fun, I can tell. Same for the movies IMO. --The Merciful 17:36, 28 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

More subcategories edit

I think the move to Future games is a good thing. Should we also set up Future movies, Future music albums, Future game consoles, Future books .... etc? Jacoplane 22:07, 28 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Nissan 350Z change to 450Z? edit

The Nissan 350Z is mistakedly added in the list. On the linked page, the future products tag refers to the 450Z model.

Discussion on Future Products edit

If an object is disputed about whether or not it should be on the Future product page, where can you discuss it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.117.241.245 (talk) 23:56, 15 January 2007 (UTC).Reply
