Discographies or Catalogs? edit

I've moved Dischord Records discography to Dischord Records catalog, since catalog seems like the more appropriate term. I don't really see how the word "discography" can really apply to a Record Label. However, I made the change without realizing this category existed, so I thought it would be a good idea to propose the change for all of these articles as well. Along the same lines, I'd like to start getting some of these pages to FL quality, and I believe clarifying the titles of the articles would be the first step. Let me know what you think of the proposition. Drewcifer (talk) 17:08, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Along those lines, I think the name of this category should also be changed to Record Label catalogs or something along those lines. If there's any disagreement with the proposed move, let me know. Drewcifer (talk) 20:34, 21 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Discography is the accepted international term for a "list of records", which is what your article is. That most definitely includes record labels. Please note also that "catalog" is an American spelling which is quite ugly to the eyes of us Brits (or me at least :) ), so by sticking with the status quo you also help international relations :). --kingboyk (talk) 17:54, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
