I would like to have a hierarchical categories of tests with psychometrics the top level under which psychological test would be nested and cognitive tests nested within psychological tests and finally intelligence tests nested within cognitive tests. I believe this would eliminate some redundancy.Tstrobaugh15:02, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I am going to be moving articles on psychological testing to such a category. As the article on psychological testing points out, psychometrics is the theory of measurement, not the actual tests. So this category should have articles on psychometrics (reliability, IRT, CTT, etc.) while psychological tests should have their own category. If you have a serious beef with this let me know. Thanks!--Iulus Ascanius (talk) 18:45, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oops, I just noticed that there is a subcategory for that kind of stuff. There should be a major category for psychological testing and subcategories for psychological tests, psychometrics, personality typing, etc.--Iulus Ascanius (talk) 20:56, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
