According to the United Nations geoscheme, created by the United Nations Statistics Division, Europe is subdivided into Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, Southern Europe, and Western Europe. These geographical divisions are for the internal purposes of the Statistics division only and do not imply any assumption regarding political or other affiliations of countries or territories by the UN.^[1] It should not be used here on wikipedia.--89.128.236.143 (talk) 23:51, 17 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
