If North America for the purpose of this section includes present day mexico, shouldn't the Aztec Empire be included? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.72.54.34 (talk) 16:19, 3 March 2008 (UTC) This list omits the Republic of Rough and Ready, discussed in the entry for Rough and Ready, California.
