The Enuma Elish, (part of unaltered history) edit

As the creator of the Category:Enuma Elish, I claim no knowledge of the gods, nor their deeds.

When creating this category, it was basically the 2nd time for examining-(just reading it!) the sequential, running text—translation (in English). The 1st time through (about 1 year prior), I recognized some of the players, events, tools, references, etc. I did not expect to find Nibiru (Jupiter), nor the entire Zodiac. Of note wiki-commons has a Great photo of the Fish-man, (source for article), and their are other articles to be named-(i.e. created).

My statement is this for the TALK: I don't see any of this as "religion", or "gods". I see culture, growing societies, and actually the ability to "Read and Write", and 'speak one's mind' , (collective or singular). And I think the most important item of "notation", at the beginning when the Enuma Elish was first started, 'the future had not yet unfolded' . There are references that are analogues to Ancient Egypt; they are obvious, and stand out. The societies may not have traded with each other, but idealogies can be seen as the analogues, of one to the other. ....So more articles to do, and more to Read-and Write... (from the SonoranDesert, ArizonaUSA)....--Mmcannis (talk) 14:11, 29 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
