Deletion of cat from closed debates

edit

Should I delete the category from closed debates? Or is this supposed to be a record of all debates that have been relisted more than 3 times? L3X1 (distant write) 22:52, 13 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

User:Hazard-Bot takes care of it. L3X1 (distant write) 02:25, 20 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proof that deletion template is not harmful?

edit

@Daniel: Regarding your last revert. Are you able to provide proof that the deletion template is not harmful in 100% of cases? Dr. Universe (talk) 00:39, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Dr. Universe: I am on your side (I think); in many situations, I feel time is of the essence regarding the closing of AfD discussions and having an AfD notification on a page is harmful. However, in my experience, I have found my view is a minority opinion, most editors don't feel AfD notifications are harmful. But separately from that, you need consensus to make changes to policy pages. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 00:42, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Correct, and considering this is a quote from WP:RELIST (a section of WP:DELPOL), that is where the consensus will need to be achieved. Daniel (talk) 00:48, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@: Thanks. Well right after saying it's not harmful, it says that it can be disheartening for some editors, and disheartening people is harmful. Moreover, where was the consensus on that language in the first place (I mean where was the consensus on saying the template "is not harmful")? Dr. Universe (talk) 00:50, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Listification of this category?

Is there a listified version of this category hiding somewhere? I'd like to be able to see additions to this category in my Watchlist... Suriname0 (talk) 14:26, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
