Locomotives designed by Phil Girdlestone, Alfred County Railway (ACR) Chief Mechanical Engineer. Apart from the two Class NG G16A Garratts, he also built a new 500 millimetres gauge 0-4-0+0-4-0 Garratt locomotive named Engineer Zubieta for the Southern Fuegian Railway, Argentina, in 2006.[1]
