Members of Parliament (MPs) of the House of Commons in the 1st Parliament of Great Britain (1707 – 1708). The English and Welsh members were those elected to the House of Commons of England at a general election between 7 May 1705 and 6 June 1705, or at subsequent by-elections, while the 45 representative Scottish members had originally been elected to the Parliament of Scotland in the Autumn of 1702, a few at by-elections, and one of the final acts of the unicameral Parliament was to choose 45 co-opted members, drawn from the Scottish constituencies, to sit in the first House of Commons of Great Britain. This category includes those who were members from the outset of the Parliament and those subsequently elected at by-elections.
