This is a maintenance category, used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project. It is not part of the encyclopedia and contains non-article pages, or groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories. This is a tracking category. It builds and maintains a list of pages primarily for the sake of the list itself. They are not part of the encyclopedia's categorization scheme. This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set. • Load up an article from the category.
• There is maintenance templates should be at the top of page, with the relevant redlink/copy-pastable code to create the redirects.
• VERIFY THAT THE ABBREVIATION IN |bluebook= IS CORRECT FIRST
  • There are links in the maintenance templates to facilitate this
  • Do not rely on your intuition. Someone may have made a mistake that seems fine at first glance, but isn't actually an Bluebook code (e.g. B.C. Law Rev. instead of the correct B.C. L. Rev. for Boston College Law Review).
  • |bluebook= should contain dotted versions of the abbreviations (e.g. |abbreviation=B.C. L. Rev., not |abbreviation=BC L Rev). Anything that isn't a Bluebook abbreviation should be removed from this field. Also verify that dots, apostrophes, and spacing are accurate.
  • If |bluebook= is wrong, fix it. The maintenance templates will now update themselves with the correct-copy past code, and the correct redlinks to be created.
  • If you cannot determine the correct abbrevation, or aren't sure, leave a message at WT:LAW and someone will help you.
• Use the copy-pastable code from the template to create the redirects (you can also reuse it in the edit summary)
• WP:PURGE the original article to remove the maintenance templates.
