Abdulkarim Abdullah Al-Kanderi (Arabic: عبدالكريم الكندري) (born 1981) is an opposition politician, who is the current Controller of the Kuwait Parliament. It was he who was accused by the emir of insulting him, justifying the disbanding of 2023 parliament.

Al-Kanderi was first elected in the Kuwaiti General Election 2013, he won the tenth chair in the third constituency by 1,424 votes.[1] However, he resigned after having resorted to unconstitutional practices for lack of cooperation from the government.[2][3] In the Kuwaiti General Election 2016 he won the fourth chair in the same constituency by 3,325 votes.[1][4][5] In the Kuwaiti General Election 2020 he won the 1st chair by 5,585 votes.[1] In the Kuwaiti General Election 2022 he won the third chair in the same constituency by 6,915 votes. In the Kuwaiti General Election 2023 he won the third chair in the same constituency by 5,878 votes. In the Kuwaiti General Election 2024 he won the first chair in the same constituency by 9,428 votes, this is his highest number since the beginning of his electoral career.

Al-Kanderi participated to the National Human Resources' Development Committee, the Woman and Family Committee, the Human Rights Committee, the Committee of the Draft Answer to the Emiri Speech, the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee, and the Education, Culture and Guidance Committee.[6]
