The 2024–25 I-League 2 will be the 17th season of the I-League 2 since its establishment in 2008. It is also the 3rd season as the third tier of the Indian football league system. The top two clubs on the league table will secure a place in the 2025–26 I-League season.

In October 2024, Sudeva Delhi withdrew from the tournament, while the India national under-20 football team was introduced. This brought the total number of teams participating in the league to ten.[2][3][4]
