The race began in Rho, on the outskirts of Milan, and finished in Salassa, on the outskirts of Turin[1]

Teams edit

Nine of the 18 UCI WorldTeams and nine UCI ProTeams made up the 18 teams that participated in the race.[2] Of these teams, all entered a full squad of seven riders except for Uno-X Mobility who entered six riders.[3] Of the 125 entries, 119 finished, while only three riders did not and three others did not start.
