WP:OR - no source I can find says they are *legally* mononymous - some sources say they are monomyous but the fact that it is legal requires additional research (and is original)
Undid revision 1037822830 by Urve (talk) revert and added citation to a Canadian Supreme Court saying usage alone is legal. please put any further dispute of this aspect on the list talk page, not Quinn's.
