Syndication Episodes edit

I swear the original airdate of the "syndicated episode" where Dale is in the mental institution was aired on cartoon network over a month ago, billed as an "all new king of the hill.", but the original airdate according to the article is May 5th, 2010, only four days before I'm posting this. Would need confirmation —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.70.62.5 (talk) 01:09, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Episode notability edit

Many or all of the existing individual episode pages for this series appear to fail the notability guidelines for television episodes, and have been tagged accordingly. These articles can be improved through the inclusion of real-world information from reliable sources to assert notability. Overly long plot summaries should be edited, to a maximum length of approxima tely ten words per minute of screen time. Trivia should be integrated into the body of the article, or removed if it is not directly relevant. Quotes and images should only be used as part of a critical analysis of the episode. You might also consider merging any notable information onto the show's "List of episodes" or season pages. Otherwise, when these pages come up for review, they may be redirected or merged. If you want any help or further information, then come to Wikipedia:WikiProject Television/Episode coverage. Thanks. Wenttomowameadow (talk) 11:30, 1 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

It appears that the episode pages weren't marked accordingly, but simply all tagged. Some episodes do seem to meet notability guidelines.

I can help to improve these episodes with more sources but it will take awhile. To anybody else working on the individual pages, keep it up, they are coming along nicely. I'm sure once there are more sources they will be notable. The PDF file on http://alkek.library.txstate.edu/swwc/archives/film/koth.htm page leads to 94 pages of information on King of the Hill donated to the Texas State University Library by Jim Dauterive who is an executive producer on the show. Dang! That's just an inventory list. Do you have a website with actual episode information? ie what the list is inventorying? CTJF83 chat 06:59, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
What is "marked accordingly" if not tagging? Why are the episodes notable? It seems that people are trying to write articles for every single episode. Wenttomowameadow (talk) 14:12, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

So should every episode that has its own separate page be linked to?CarlSerafino (talk) 18:46, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Airdates, writers, and directors are mixed up. edit

In Season 3 the airdates, writers, and directors are mixed up. Dog Dale Afternoon originally aired on April 13, 1999 and was written by Jon Vitti and directed by Tricia Garcia, not May 11, neither written by the two Alan's or directed by Chris Moeller. Same goes for "Take Me Out of the Ball Game". Originally aired on May 11, 1999, written by Alan R. Cohen & Alan Freeland and directed by Chris Moeller. Can someone correct this problem? 174.253.137.128 (talk) 15:16, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

redundant links? edit

Who made all of these pages for episodes that link right back to this page? It is redundant to have a page if it links back here. --Tacit tatum (talk) 00:56, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

They were all separate episode pages at one time. this discussion caused them all to be redirected, and no one unlinked them. CTJF83 01:02, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Season 1 Episode Production Codes edit

In the summary table it states that the production codes are "4Exx"; however, in the actual list of episodes for season 1, all of the episodes have a production code starting "1E" rather than "4E". Clearly this is inconsistent and I believe they should all start "4E".AlexAndrews (talk) 00:22, 8 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

In fact, I believe the production codes are inaccurate (even if changed from "1Exx" to "4Exx"). For example, there is no episode listed for production code "4E13", whereas there is definitely an episode with that code. It also very suspicious having the production codes correlate directly with the series episode numbers.AlexAndrews (talk) 00:28, 8 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

I could find no reference in the WP article indicating the sources for its information, so I have now edited the production codes for season 1 as per http://kingofthehill.wikia.com/wiki/Episode_outlines#Season_1:_1997 (one of the sources cited in the main King of the Hill article).AlexAndrews (talk) 00:46, 8 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ended in 2010 edit

The last four episodes were aired in syndication in 2010 and a user going by "grapesoda2020" I think keeps reverting the edits to 2009. 2009 was when the last episode was broadcast on Fox. The show aired 4 more new episodes into May 6, 2010. Dpm12 (talk) 04:48, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Dean Young Link Incorrect edit

The "Dean Young" link leads to the wikipedia page of Dean Wayne Young, creator of "Blondie". There is no wiki page for this Dean Young. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.112.135.231 (talk) 01:01, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
