Konstantine II of Kartli
Why someone tries to present that as if the Kartli line more legitimate than Kaheti line? In the list it is specified that tsar Konstantin II (1478-1505) as though once was the king of all Georgia - it is a blunder! because last king of all Georgia was George VIII (1446-1476)who has been compelled to leave a throne of Georgia and to move in Kaheti. After that Georgia has collapsed on three kingdoms. The King Konstantine (Constantine) II never was the king of all Georgia !!! Therefore claims of a line of Kaheti more legitimate, than of a line of Kartli. - King Konstantine II's reign over Georgia is documented at the bottom of the page on Royal Ark's article on the Bagrationi here. If you have verifiable corrections, please cite your source. Also, you posted your comment at the beginning of this Talk page instead of at the end. Is there anyone here with the ability and patience to sort out the madness that is going on at the talk page of this article? I am currently trying to remove most articles of this kind for lack of notability and because it's almost impossible in most cases to find reliable sources that list the theoretical heirs to an abolished throne. Standard romanization of Georgian
Hi, as a spin-off of the discussion at Talk:Tsqaltubo, I would like to propose a standard romanization scheme for Georgian names. For similar schemes for other languages/alphabets see Wikipedia:Romanization and the general rules at Wikipedia:Article titles#Foreign names and anglicization. There are several existing schemes listed at Georgian alphabet#Transcription. I'd prefer to use a version without apostrophs for article titles, for instance like in the table below (which equals the Georgian national system of romanization and the BGN/PCGN romanization, apostrophs omitted). Merge proposal of Armenians in Samtskhe-Javakheti
I have made a proposal to merge Armenians in Samtskhe-Javakheti to Samtskhe-Javakheti based upon reasons presented at Talk:Samtskhe-Javakheti#Merge_discussion. uefa women's leagues

It seems to me that the content of Public investigation of the Ossetian War would be better served by merging it into 2008 South Ossetia war. Comments? Richwales (talk · contribs · review) 05:00, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
On further reflection, I think the stuff at Public investigation of the Ossetian War doesn't seem to be substantial enough to merit more than an additional sentence or two (if even that!) in 2008 South Ossetia war. After two years of being tagged as requiring improvement on numerous counts, that page is probably more of a candidate for deletion than a useful source of material for a merger. Georgia (country) articles have been selected for the Wikipedia 0.8 release
Version 0.8 is a collection of Wikipedia articles selected by the Wikipedia 1.0 team for offline release on USB key, DVD and mobile phone. Articles were selected based on their assessed importance and quality, then article versions (revisionIDs) were chosen for trustworthiness (freedom from vandalism) using an adaptation of the WikiTrust algorithm.
We would like to ask you to review the Georgia (country) articles and revisionIDs we have chosen. Selected articles are marked with a diamond symbol (♦) to the right of each article, and this symbol links to the selected version of each article. If you believe we have included or excluded articles inappropriately, please contact us at Wikipedia talk:Version 0.8 with the details. You may wish to look at your WikiProject's articles with cleanup tags and try to improve any that need work; if you do, please give us the new revisionID at Wikipedia talk:Version 0.8. We would like to complete this consultation period by midnight UTC on Monday, October 11th.

Vera Kobalia BLP edits
Jimbo Wales made a potentially controversial edit on BLP grounds at this article about a Georgian politician.[1][2] I believe he over-erred on the side of BLP sensitivity but not egregiously so; other experienced editors may see it differently from either of our points of view. See the discussion at Talk:Vera Kobalia#Controversies section. I am posting this here in the interests of getting a broader consensus among experienced editors -- please review the comments and edits, then weigh in with your thoughtful opinions, pro or con (or otherwise). - As the creator of the article whose edit Wales removed, I think he was working to a more strict interpretation of BLP than I personally take, but I think one that is well within the bounds of acceptable editing. I disagree with the removal of the material, but no more than I would disagree with anyone else's editing of words I've written (that's what we do here, after all), and certainly not enough to wheel war about it. If that footnote in her biography does prove durable and lasting, I see no reason to reinstate it, particularly after some time has passed, and if secondary coverage emerges that is not merely reactive and treating her as the scandal-du-jour. His deletion was not the call I'd make, but I don't think it was a bad call. Ford MF (talk) 17:14, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
WikiProject cleanup listing
I have created together with Smallman12q a toolserver tool that shows a weekly-updated list of cleanup categories for WikiProjects, that can be used as a replacement for WolterBot and this WikiProject is among those that are already included (because it is a member of Category:WolterBot cleanup listing subscriptions). Political Parties
More should be done on the pages representing the different political parties of Georgia. Many are no longer in existence, and some have no history past 2003. Numerous have biased history and no facts about them. Sixdown (talk) 21:11, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
