Welcome to The Diary of a Wimpy Kid task force of WikiProject Novels! We aim to create a standard of excellence for articles related to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid novel series. In general, this task force aims to organize, expand, and improve Wikipedia's encyclopedic coverage of articles that pertain to this series of novels.

Join this project! Add yourself to the list, and add the userbox to your page, to advertise the project to people who happen to pass by.
Invite people to the project – drop a note or invite template {{WP:WikiProject Novels/Diary of a Wimpy Kid task force/Invite}} on the user talk page of editors working on Diary of a Wimpy Kid topics who aren't project members.
Consider promoting the project via the Wikipedia Signpost WikiProject desk.

Add references to articles which need referencing improving. Biographies of living persons are a particular priority.

Members must contribute to DOAWK pages and DOAWK articles constructively.
Members must be generally active in the affairs of the WikiProject.

The project reserves the right to remove users from the Members list for any violation of Wikipedia or Taskforce policy.

Put all DOAWK-related articles in Category:Diary of a Wimpy Kid (series) except for List of Diary of a Wimpy Kid characters.

Currently, the top-level category for articles relevant to this task force is Category:Diary of a Wimpy Kid task force articles, where its subcategories lists articles by quality and importance. With {{WikiProject Novels}}, specifying |DOAWK-task-force-yes= and |DOAWK-importance= will automatically list the article in the appropriate category.

Tagging and assessment... edit

Any article related to this task force should be marked with |DOAWK-task-force=yes to the {{WikiProject Novels}} project banner at the top of its talk page (see the project banner instructions for more details on the exact syntax). |DOAWK-importance= (high/mid/low/etc) is used to indicate the importance with respect to the task force.
