WikiAfrica Cinema invites you to share your knowledge on Wikipedia. WikiAfrica Cinema aims at bringing the African Cinema on Wikipedia to give international visibility to films, festivals, actors and producers. Copy left is the most powerful distribution system. WikiAfrica Cinema involves in particular students, experts and cultural institutions and it encourages the production of articles, quotations, books, essays and interviews with African directors.

Afriradio is the first Italian webradio dedicated to the African continent and has contributed to WikiAfrica by broadcasting live and recording the sessions on African literature held during the Mantua Literature Festival in 2008.
- Verona African Film Festival
The Verona African Film Festival has started to put its film records and archives on Wikipedia, involving the editorial staff of Nigrizia Multimedia in the task and starting off the new section of WikiAfrica on the cinema.
- Fespaco
During Fespaco, the most important international event for African cinema, the stand for Afriradio and the Verona Festival has exhibited the project, recorded interviews and encouraged the festival guests to participate.
As well as honouring Ousmane Sembène, the pioneering doyen of African cinema who died in June 2007, the event included different competition categories and a window onto international cinema. For example, the documentary/World section for which the documentary Come un uomo sulla terra (like a man on the earth), made by Andrea Segre, Dagmawi Yimer and Riccardo Biadene, has been chosen. It was produced in Italy from the Asinitas school in Rome and the journalist Gabriele del Grande.
- Festival Cinema Africano
Also the 19th edition of Festival Cinema Africano, Asia e America Latina of Milan, Italy, supports WikiAfrica Cinema.
