Gwelup Croatia SC

This article was deleted in i think 2015 or thereabouts, due to not meeting notability guidelines. At the time it was an amateur football club in Perth; however it has risen through the divisions during the last few years, and now has reached the final stages of Australia's premier football knockout competition - 2018 FFA Cup - reaching this stage should now provide significant enough notability to meet the general guideline. There is likely some further editing required to beef up the article, which i would intend on doing over the next 2 weeks. If this is not quite the right format to get this article restored, then please let me know. The reference sources provided to the article were for a renowned tabloid Times Of India, The reference sources with headline articles with detailed mentioning to the person drafted article were considered mere mentions. Where as all the reference mentioned clearly state the persons notability and is verifiable as per all wikipedia norms. I'll add that making the same request multiple times won't change the outcome. It has already been declined. I believe this subject is worth a listing in Wikipedia. The subject is 86 years old, so getting the additional documents I need is not easy, because he is still working and he travels all over the country. Hjernerystelsesforeningen

This page has been deleted, on grounds I do not understand. The organization has been deemed notable on da.wiki, do to it having more than 1.000 members (which is a fairly high number in a Danish context), it is currently cooperatering with the Danish chapter of FIFPro (Spillerforeningen), as well as their counterparts in Team Handball and other various other professionel sports in Denmark. Furthermore is has a cooperation with the Danish Ice Hockey Federation and Danish Handball Federation, and they are frequently used in the Danish media (sources for this can be found on da.wiki). So, based on what I described above, I do not understand why it has been deleted, and therefore I request that I will be undeleted again. It was deleted for no claim of importance for an organisation. The references were not independent either. Different wikis can have different rules for notability. And a lot of other Danish media, including television, has mentioned the organisation (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and I could go on) - so what constitute an independent source, and what should be done to get the article undeleted to the latest version (which, as far as I know, did not contain any Danish)?   • Well Beauxbatons was changed into a redirect unilaterally by User:Basar in 2007, so based on WP:BRD you can revert that or improve the page without discussion. The last AFD for this page, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Spinner's End decided to keep the page. User:Basar is occasionally active if you want to talk to them, but it is not required by policy, unless they disagree with your action. Because the page has a long history, I do not recommend you moving your sandbox over the top, deleting the old Beauxbatons page. Undeletion of pages that User:JLJ001 was attached to

Although user JLJ001 was a sock puppet, we (the WikiProject) believe that many of the deletions following this were not necessary. For a full list of pages, we would want undeleted, please see this. All of the pages deleted on this list were deleted under WP:G5. We as a WikiProject would ensure that the pages if restored were fully vetted and checked. —Wpgbrown (talk) 14:33, 31 May 2018 (UTC)

That list is huge. It would sort of defeat the purpose of G5 to restore all that. On the other hand, I can see the value of the work that was removed. Has the deleting admin Ansh666 (talk · contribs) weighed in anywhere with an opinion? ~Anachronist (talk) 19:06, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
Regarding the specific portals: it shouldn't be difficult to recreate everything with the existing portal templates. The ones that were used on these deleted portals were used only on these, so there are thousands of perfectly fine portals that didn't use Dysklyver's creations. Regarding the rest: I agree with Anachronist's second sentence. (I don't believe I deleted all of them, either.) ansh666 19:13, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
  • I'll point out that most of the unused templates were still "beta" so they weren't implemented yet. We were planning to use them in the near future once we'd ironed out the bugs. For a shorter un-deletion wishlist, I'd like to have at least the following restored, along with their related pages (talk, /doc, etc):
Mostly any template with portal in the name, which we will be using for tagging, and one of our WiP pages.
  • In addition, I'd like the portals that were deleted to be restored, moving them to draft (or user or our project) space, if necessary. Then we can review them and determine their fate properly. We may need to add to this list later. — AfroThundr (u · t · c) 23:03, 31 May 2018 (UTC)

It isn't that no one is bothering, it's that the deleting admin already voiced a mild objection to restoring dozens of pages, agreeing with my statement that doing so would defeat the purpose of G5. ~Anachronist (talk) 14:15, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
