I have tried to make this clear in the differences section. The Bic Mac covers most of the world, but limited to Africa. The KFC Index does the same thing solely for Africa, therefore compliments it quite well.

@101.59.214.11: You might want to check your talk page user talk:Yash jhambh, which explains that the article was deleted in accordance with WP:CSD#A7 because it contained no credible assertion of notability. As such, it isn't eligible for restoration by request on this page. The Conventioneers

The article got PROD due to notability and sourcing concerns. The last point is admittedly a valid one, but I feel the subject is notable. The show ran for seven seasons, received some international distribution, and perhaps most importantly, got in trouble with a notable watchdog group. There is nothing worthwhile restoring in the deleted version, it's just one sentence "Why Ahmadiyyas are not Muslims is an open letter to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the current leader of the Ahmadiyyas. But you will be wasting your time, because No amount of editing can overcome a lack of notability. It is quite clear that this book does not meet the requirements of WP:Notability (books). It is not listed in Worldcat or on Amazon or Google Books; the ISBN number returns no results. The only review I have found is on Goodreads, which gives it 5 stars, but as the review is by the book's author that counts for nothing. JohnCD (talk) 20:20, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

Please identify what sounds promotional -- will be very happy to fix. The page was meant to explain/inform on mainstream biomechanical research (results came out of a Tufts Medical School study. The thing that worries me the most is the extremely positive tone of the draft: The benefits of the Sanomechanics exercises are wide-reaching and include those used to alleviate lower back pain, neck pain, shoulder problems, a condition known as tennis elbow, knee pain, and some forms of arthritis.. This makes promises with no sources, rather than documenting the scope. At the same time, benefits of the Sanomechanics exercises can be seen right now is very unspecific and sounds promotional as well.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:47, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

I am not contesting the outcome of the deletion discussion, however I am formulating an Arbitration Enforcement action against a user and some of their misconduct was within this now-deleted article. To do that, click on "Preferences" at the top of the screen, and at the bottom of the "user profile" tab enter your email address (which will not be visible to me or anyone) and check the box marked "Enable email from other users". @JohnCD: Thanks, but I'm honestly not really interested in the text, I am interested in the editing history, and possibly that of the talk page too; I need to present diffs involving the conduct of the user in question. Ideally it needs to be viewable by both that user and other participating editors. You can blank the content, "NOINDEX" it, move it all to Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement/2016 Ramadan attacks - or perhaps the best idea - undelete and redirect to List of terrorist incidents, 2016. As I've said on my user talk page: That is in my view not a sufficient reason for restoring content the community wants deleted. If there is actionable misconduct by an editor, chances are that it can also be shown through edits of non-deleted articles; if not, it likely does not warrant action.  Sandstein  20:24, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

Good Day, My name is Godfrey Motheogane and my disk jockey name is DJ Chairman. I created a page on wikipedia for DJ CHAIRMAN For promotional use of my music services and to build a brand. This page was deleted on wikipedia because it does not conform to the rules of wikipedia and the reason that wikipedia gave me for deleting my page was Blatant misuse of Wikipedia as a web host. I agree with your reasons and i take responsibility for the deletion of my page.   • They appear to be in the manner of personal references, rather than citations to WP:RSes supporting the text (the little blue numbers you see on most articles). Here's the references section from the article:
  • CLARITY PRESS (address: 2625 Piedmont Rd. NE. Atlanta GA) regarding the three books published there!
  • Ellen Brown (web of Debt) book review for the book How Wall Street Fleeces America by S Lendman
  • John McMurtry ( Unequal Freedoms- The Global Market as an Ethical System)
  • Peter Phillips ( President Media Freedom Foundation/ Project Censored) for Stephen's award from that Project Censored!}}
I mean, I just deleted it as an expired PROD, so I have no objection to restoring it if actual references for the text can be found.       • I've restored it to Draft:Stephen Lendman, with all the history (including previous deleted versions, I wasn't aware it had been PRODed before). Make sure you read over WP:BLP, Wikipedia is very fussy that articles about living people be well referenced. Offhand here's one piece of advice I can give if you're setting up your website/blogs/etc. Less tends to be more at times and I would recommend that you not use an image if it doesn't closely or exactly represent the materials/equipment you're using in real life. (IE, it can be seen as a bit deceptive if I show an image of professional grade, cutting edge equipment and I'm using a basic microphone or very old equipment. You can do this, but this does tend to look bad when people go to these pages. Part of the charm of amateur music is seeing how people work with little to no professional equipment and seeing how they overcome this.) Putting too many images on a page can make a page look bad and feel clumsy to maneuver around, which can make everything seem more amateurish. When setting up pages it's best to just go for minimalism than anything else.
I'd also recommend that since you're looking to promote yourself, that you use websites like Wix or Weebly. These sites tend to give you a basic template that you can use to set up your page, which can be a huge help when you're just starting out since it'll make things look a little more professional. They're also free, which is an added bonus. Blogs are also good, but be careful since they're set up to be more like a diary than anything else and setting those up to seem professional can be kind of difficult sometimes. I'd recommend setting up the main website on Wix or Weebly and then using a blog to record your creative process in general and to give basic updates. A lot of professionals tend to use this format. Wikis might be good at some point, but keep in mind that those can be slightly difficult to set up since they're expected to be extensive and most can be edited by any user - I'd focus on setting up the website first. Tagging and deletion were in error, as there was a source. And our requester had the wrong idea about why they were deleted too, as they were all deleted for "no source" not copyright infringement. Naturally we need a source to show that they are US Gov publications. In some cases the source was unclear, but apparently valid, but still should not have been speedy deleted. You linked to people who work with the company, however this will not give Konstant Infosolutions notability as notability is WP:NOTINHERITED. The now deleted article also had issues with a promotional tone via sentences like "The Research and Development division, Mobile Labs, and Development Labs have unified the knowledge and proficiency from diverse domain professionals to provide the clients an expert advice on the best possible technological strategy."   • What you need to establish notability would be things like articles written about the software in a reliable place and by someone who is unaffiliated with the product. The biggest issue source-wise with the article was that you didn't really seem to have any that satisfied both requirements. You had links to official pages, to clients, and to places that wouldn't really be seen as a RS on Wikipedia, like self-published sources.   • For example, this is so brief that it wouldn't be considered a RS even if it didn't read like it was heavily based on a press release. This is a WP:PRIMARY source and cannot establish notability - and I must state in general that notability is WP:NOTINHERITED by the software having an association with any notable software, people, projects, or groups. The only one that looked usable was the stuff by Opensource.com, however a look at the article for the software shows that it was developed by Red Hat, who supports Opensource.com. This means that it's well within their best interests to write about something that they created, even if the software is open source.
