@Darwinius:   Not done, yet. That OTRS ticket is the subject of the photograph claiming he is the copyright holder of the photograph. This looks like a portrait photo taken by someone else. We have a templated reply for situations like that. The subject of a photograph isn't normally the copyright holder. The photographer is. In a situation like this we'd need him to answer the question of how he obtained the copyright, and provide proof that he indeed has it. Now while AfC articles are different in that we will occasionally restore problematic articles, the issue here is that the draft article contains material taken from here, which makes it a copyright violation. Even if the content was given up as fair use, the content is still very promotional in tone and would require an almost complete re-write to meet WP:NPOV. The draft article as a whole is extremely, extremely promotional, enough to where I don't feel comfortable restoring it to AfC even if there wasn't any copyvio. Baba Daya Singh Bedi comes from the lineage of Sri Guru Nanak - he is the 15th direct descendant of the great saint. The royal family was in Kallar, Rawalpindi, Pakistan and had great political, social and religious influence all the way till Afghanistan. It is important to document his family history, genealogy and traditions given that after the partition of Indian in 1947, Pakistan became an Islamic state and denied the heritage of other Sikh and Hindu princely rulers.

It also seems by the deletion history that Sigmabaroda and Sitush have a personal animosity and they have used my page to fight over and play around with. I have researched myu article on Daya Singh Bedi with great care, dedication and devotion. Everything is historically accurate. I am also formally translating Sikh text and studying Sikh history so believe me all that is there is accurate. Please restore the page back to original. Thank you.

  • You are at the wrong forum. The page has not been deleted, but large parts of it have been reverted because of very poor quality sources, and your original research. Primary Research like you have been doing is not allowed Wikipedia. Hillerbrand + Magsamen

The Wikipedia page 'Hillerbrand + Magsamen' was deleted at the request of its initial creator Bonniebrunk. Stephan Hillerbrand and Mary Magsamen, the subjects of the wikipedia page had asked if the page could be deleted so they could each have their own individual pages rather then a page about their collaborative career. There have been 4 attempts to create individual pages for Stephan Hillerbrand and Mary Magsamen but they have been denied, citing that they "submission's references do not adequately evidence the subject's notability."

If individual pages can not be created for the two individuals Stephan Hillerbrand and Mary Magsamen, then the original wikipedia page 'Hillerbrand + Magsamen' should be restored. This page was created in 2012 and has been around for 3 years. It has been reviewed and passed evidence the subject's notability. The original creator of the page, Bonniebrunk, is asking for it to be restored and undeleted.

Although deletion by PROD had been requested, the page was actually deleted as a copyright violation from http://www.auxiliaryprojects.com/HMmultiples and other sites, so it cannot be restored. You are welcome to write an article in your own words, but it should be based mainly on what others say about them, not on what they say about themselves. If that is accepted, I would think redirects to it from the individual names could be added.
The terms of the deletion request: "Both Mary Magsamen and Stephan Hillerbrand would like the page deleted so that they can make their own individual pages", show a misunderstanding of Wikipedia: this is an encyclopedia, not a place for people to make their own pages; that is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at WP:Autobiography.   • @Max Paxman: This is mildly promotional and at best reads like a personal essay written to showcase this method in the best light possible, so I do need to warn you that this would need to be completely re-written to meet WP:NPOV guidelines. It might be better for you to re-write this from scratch. Also, I have to ask: do you have a conflict of interest with any of this? (IE, do you work in a business where it'd benefit you if this was written in a positive manner?) You can still edit if you do, but you will need to read over WP:COI and disclose this COI somewhere, either on the article or on your user page. The local one is very different, it is a giant beige coloured lowercase e with "The Man Booker Prizes" text superimposed in white.
