"Devlin Crow"

I, Devlin crow, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Devlin crow (talk) 23:14, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

I have been working on this draft for months and months, it was deleted once before without my knowledge and I was so shocked after all the work I had done. I have been actively working on this page on and off all the time, so to imply its has been dormant is totally unacceptable. I have been sourcing external references for the last six weeks as I did not want the submission to be declined AGAIN, I would like to see this page back up immediately. I am furious, after all the work I have done on behalf of my client. Unbelievable. -Devlin crow (talk) 23:21, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

@Devlin crow: Actually, your last edit on the draft article was over 1 year ago, which is why it was deleted.
In addition, you were using your user page as a web hosting service, and rather than blocking your account for using Wikipedia as a publicity platform, I have instead just now deleted your user page as unambiguous promotion.
Furthermore, mention of your "client" suggests that you are here in a paid editing capacity. As such, you agreed to disclose any conflict of interest you may have when you registered your account. You have not done so. Therefore, I am unwilling to restore the draft until you make a public disclosure of your relationship with the article subject. ~Amatulić (talk) 00:59, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Amatulić, there's something else that's concerning here. This user uploaded File:The Anatomists Notebook - by Devlin Crow.jpeg, claiming that he held the copyright and that it was his work. If he isn't Crow, which looks to be likely per the phrase "my client", then that means that this was an invalid claim of fair use. I'm going to nominate it for deletion accordingly since we now can't guarantee that he's Crow himself. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:34, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Matthew H. Liang

I, Redpen11, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Redpen11 (talk) 08:34, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

  • Redpen11, I've restored it and moved this to Draft:Matthew H. Liang (2). There does appear to another draft article, written by Liang himself, here, so you may want to see if there's anything you can take from there. On a side note, if you were asked to create this article by Liang, you need to disclose this somewhere (preferably on your userpage) per WP:COI. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:49, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Bamboo Group

Good day. Thanks for explaining the reasons of my article deletion. Let me ask a couple of questions to ensure greater clarity on that point. It’s mentioned in Wikipedia Notability Guidelines that smaller organizations can also be notable just a large organizations. I agree that my article lacks coverage (or the depth of coverage, to be more exact) in reliable sources. But what if the organization will receive more notice in the independent sources? Can this article stay on Wikipedia under the condition that it will be improved? Can you please explain why do you consider the article to be promotional? It seems that that the article subject has been described from a neutral point of view. I tried to rely on facts and sources. In which way need it be rewritten to meet the requirements? -Yauheni Schwarz (talk) 14:45, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

  1. No. Encyclopædiae are only as strong as their weakest source, which is why we need those reliable sources.
  2. Not unless it was restored as a draft. Creating an article directly to article space is going to get it put under higher scrutiny.
  3. Not being an admin, I cannot answer that question, but my suspicion is that weasel words and superlatives were employed. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 18:18, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
  • @Yauheni Schwarz: Promotional tone: Actually most of the article is fairly neutrally written, However the promotional elements include a Awards and recognition section, and the bit about "appeared in media outlets". In addition much of the article is unsourced. If there are more independent sources out there, I am willing to restore this as a draft. But note that press releases, or publications by connected companies, such as as clients or suppliers are not independent, and do not prove notability. Post back here if you want this as a draft to work on. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 19:58, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
  • @Graeme Bartlett: Thanks for your feedback. I'll be very happy if you can restore my article as a draft. I want to keep working on it and re-submit it in the future after making edits.

Draft:Bush Air

(This user used the preload form for AFC undeletion, but did not specify the name of the AFC draft they would like undeleted. Consider checking their deleted contributions.) Ccmdp (talk) 09:50, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

  •   Not done Ccmdp, there really isn't anything to restore. The sole content was "Owner & operator: CC Pocock" and "Advanced Bush and Mountain Flying / Back Country Flying Training." It almost seems like it was set up like a business profile and the links to the Bush Air website and the purchase page for the book give off a somewhat promotinoal vibe. Also, I do need to warn you: if you are affiliated with the company then you will need to disclose this per WP:COI. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:54, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
  • I have no problem with you starting a new page but I would like you to read over the notability guidelines at WP:NCOMPANY. To pass guidelines you'll have to show where Bush Air has received coverage in independent and reliable sources. Just existing as a company isn't enough. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:55, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Upon further investigation of your edits, it looks like you've been trying to add your book into Wikipedia. The work seems to be self-published or very close to being self-published. While this doesn't necessarily mean that it can't be notable or useful, it does invalidate it as a source on Wikipedia. You've tried to do this at several pages ([1], [2], [3]) at several different points in time. You've also created a very spammy page for the book in your sandbox, which I've deleted as unambiguous advertising and likely WP:COPYVIO. From what I can see, your main purpose for being here seems to be to promote this business and the book. It seems very likely that you're probably the company owner or someone who works for him. You have made some small edits, including the creation of this article (which is of dubious notability), but offhand I'm not seeing where you're really doing much other than trying to promote Bush Air and the book. Prowareness

The page was written with an interest of sharing information about a company and does not have any motive of advertisement or promotion. -Sanjiv04 (talk) 11:31, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

@Sanjiv04:   Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles about companies. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning companies will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. Wikipedia is not a business listing directory.
If you are connected with the company, please readWikipedia:Conflict of interest and the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and note that you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use ("Paid contributions without disclosure" under section 4), and in some jurisdictions by laws against covert advertising, to disclose your interest in any edits where you have a COI. I, Vienna100, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Vienna100 (talk) 08:59, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

  •   Not done - this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jacob Biderman, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Kudpung (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:37, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

I, Infovalley, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Infovalley (talk) 01:31, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

We have started again on editing the context based on reviewers viewpoints -Infovalley (talk) 01:35, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

  • This looks like it's the name of a company that offers digital autopsy services. They've only edited in their userspace, which is good, but I've blocked them for their username. Assuming there's no over the top promotion in their sandbox, I have no true problem with restoring this. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:58, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
  • This is a   Not done. I was briefly scanning the draft and this sentence popped out:
"Therefore Pathologists, especially Forensic Pathologists are able to explore a deceased body without the hassles of time consuming procedure of conventional autopsy.
This is fairly promotional in tone. The article as a whole had some things to this end, where it discusses why digital autopsies are preferable, but this is very unambiguously promotional. I'm willing to email you a copy of the article but this will need to be completely re-written if you want to try submitting another article for consideration. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:01, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
  • There's a far more neutral version here that's still existent, so I'd recommend editing that instead. It still has issues with tone, but it's more neutral than the other article. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:07, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

User:TheShadowCrow/sandbox subpages

Please restore the following pages that were deleted under an invalid rationale. CSD G13 is applicable to userspace drafts only if they carry the AFC templates:

A few of these, such as User:TheShadowCrow/sandbox/Levon Aronian, might actually be deleteable per WP:UP#COPIES. Nevertheless, the G13 deletion is invalid. Pinging the deleting admin, RHaworth.

For clarity, these drafts were created by copy-pasting content from the main sandbox, User:TheShadowCrow/sandbox that was deleted as a result of this MfD. 103.6.159.74 (talk) 20:14, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

please man we can find tens of pages like

i think this disambiguation is very important for now-specialists and more specific... to distinguish between Majhi dialect and Majhi language and Magahi language...

please review this one.. and thank You for Your Understanding..--محمد بوعلام عصامي *«Md.Boualam» (talk) 23:26, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

Catalyzer Startup Accelerator

I have left it in draft mode for more than 6 months -Ramya 06:54, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

  • This seems to be referring to Draft:Catalyzer. The page you listed here was actually deleted at AfD back in May 2014 by RoySmith. I can restore the draft article, but I need to stress that you should NOT try to re-create this article in the mainspace until it passes AfC. I'm actually slightly hesitant since you seem to have tried to re-create this in the mainspace, making it necessary for NeilN to salt the article to prevent re-creation. I'd like some sort of assurance that you won't try to do this before the page is approved. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:59, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
  • I'm actually somewhat concerned that there may be sockpuppetry or meatpuppetry involved here, as there are multiple accounts that are all editing on a very specific topic that all interrelates to one another. I've opened up an SPI here. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:49, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

  • Pipistrellus~enwiki, this looks like it had its speedy deletion postponed twice, once in February 2014 and again in October of the same year. While it doesn't look like you solicited these reprieves, it does mean that the page stayed on Wikipedia since its original creation on 16 June 2013 and you only edited on one other day, on 29 March 2014, after its first reprieve. I'm willing to restore it, but I just want some sort of assurance that you will edit the draft. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:53, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

Bonjour, I was told this article should need some rewritting. In fact it is a translation of the French Wikipedia article: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Fran%C3%A7ois_Pernette . Should I shorten it by deleting lists of responsabilities, minor publications etc...? Discoveries and distinctions are important though as J.F. Pernette is one of the most prolific cave explorer of the last decades. Sincerely yours,

  •   Done I've restored it since you've responded and I've written more on my talk page. I hope that you don't mind that I've also asked for help at WP:FRANCE, in case you need help with translating or finding sources. You look to have a good grasp of the English language, but Wikipedia can be confusing for even native English speakers. I want to make sure that you have a French speaking editor you can turn to if you need them, even if it ends up that they're unnecessary. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:11, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

I, Aggie80, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. The Ukulele Dude - Aggie80 (talk) 23:05, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

  • The Ukulele Dude - Aggie80, you've recreated the article so there's no need to restore it, but I will say that the draft is very, very unambiguously promotional. This portion is what comes across as specifically promotional:
"A self taught craftsman, he has been making ukuleles for over 25 years. He originally made guitars, but has since transitioned to entirely ukulele production. His skilled craftsmanship and artistic abilities have allowed him to create many unique and beautiful instruments."
Supposed to be a direct quote from the reference article. May need to be tweaked to match. This is a draft and I'm really waiting on additional references to finish it off. The Ukulele Dude - Aggie80 (talk) 02:43, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
This needs to be removed since it's very unambiguously promotional and comes across like you're writing a press release for Talsma. It's the type of thing that would actually run the risk of the article getting deleted on sight if it was in the mainspace. Also, be careful about listing his clients, as notability is WP:NOTINHERITED by him selling ukuleles to notable people and listing them can be seen as a form of promotion in and of itself. Mentioning one or two is OK, but a list is considered to be too promotional. I also have to ask: are you Talsma or someone that was asked to create this article on his behalf? If so, you will need to state this somewhere, either on your userpage or on the article's talk page. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:47, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
Not Dave Talsma and have not been asked to create it on his behalf. But I am a fan and do own one of his instruments. There are thousands of luthiers, the listing demonstrates that his works are considered high quality and unique to make the attractive to know celebrities. Again, this is a draft! There's a reason it hasn't been moved over to main space. The Ukulele Dude - Aggie80 (talk) 02:43, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Geotourism Industry Development - Australia

Enter your reasoning here and then click the "Save page" button below -Angus M Robinson (talk) 02:10, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

The External link cited in the reference is the only compilation available in Australia relating to the development of the Australian Geotourism Industry. The cited site is maintained on behalf of the Geotourism Standing Committee of the Geological Society of Australia for the public good. It is requested please that that this link be undeleted.

  • A page on Wikipedia isn't an "external link" and doesn't belong in the "external links" section. It could go under the "see also" section, but there'd have to be an article there first. I see that there was an article, but it was deleted on the grounds that it have enough context to understand what the article's subject refers to. —Largo Plazo (talk) 02:14, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

? I don't know what you mean with: FYI OP. But why don't accept that refrence that I write it? Okay it was bad gram and spelling but we can make's beter the gram and spelling.--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:40, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
FYI is a common abbreviation meaning "for your information". OP stands for "original poster", who is Maxie1hoi. OP is often used on Internet forums. The original page has been turned into a redirect as a result of the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Liza Jacqueline. This decided to point it to another article talking about the actress. Perhaps you can continue to talk about having an article at Talk:Liza Jacqueline Kaplan. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 20:53, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Maxie1hoi, you could probably start working on a version of the article at WP:AfC. (The Articles for Creation process.) This doesn't mean that it will be accepted, but it can make it easier to show that she's notable enough for her to have an article. I will warn you, it's very difficult for voice actresses to have articles because they do not usually gain a lot of coverage. Per her IMDb page, it looks like her only major role was in Winx, unfortunately. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:31, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

This article is still a work in progress, I am waiting on some history details. As JMHamo said, I hope to be "Happy editing" again. Thank you. -Mattg889 (talk) 06:29, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

When you are ready, you need to click the green notice in the template at the top of the page that says "Submit your draft when you are ready for it to be reviewed!" You are going to have to add references for this. See Draft:Carbles (board game). Graeme Bartlett (talk) 07:15, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/DeviceAtlas

I, 89.101.149.149, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. 89.101.149.149 (talk) 10:55, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

  • It looks like there was an earlier request to have this restored back in October 2014. It was restored, but no work was ever done on the article before it was deleted in May 2015 for a lack of edits. We need some sort of assurance that you will edit the article if this is restored a second time. I will also warn you: if this is restored and no edits are done, it's unlikely that it'll be restored a third time. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:47, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
  • I did see a draft version at User:Atrasatti/DeviceAtlas that I was about to move to the draftspace for you to work on, but it was pretty unambigously promotional, to the point where I'm not sure that it'd be much more helpful than the far shorter version that you had in your draft version. If you have an account I can email you a copy of it, but only if you respond with an assurance that you'll work on the AfC draft (and I'd also need the name of the account). Mondo (UK Bank)

Creazine Technology

I have written an article to display correct information about this company to the normal internet users, if I have mentioned something that is not welcomed by wikipedia then please assist me to delete that part and update it again. I would be grateful for your assistance. click the "Save page" button below -Sabya8 (talk) 12:32, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

@Sabya8:   Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles about companies. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning companies will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion (e.g. "With creative thinking and powerful design concept Creazine Technology stands out from its competitors"), or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. Molly Moon's Hypnotic Time-Travel Adventure

I want to write about this children's book. I can't see why the page has been deleted. It's a real book that had been published by Harper Collins and Pan Macmillan -2A02:C7D:51C3:7900:45FD:9303:7A11:F709 (talk) 16:43, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Not done - this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Molly Moon's Hypnotic Time-Travel Adventure, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Drmies (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review..
It's not enough to be "a real book", see WP:Notability (books). JohnCD (talk) 17:42, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

File:Corbis logo.png

Discussion at WP:NFCR has determined that this logo isn't original enough to be copyrightable. The deletion log shows that previous files were deleted there by a now inactive admin; assuming that they are larger or higher quality versions of the current logo they should be restored. -Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 09:45, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

Arbaz Chaudhary

Arbaz Chaudhary is a web designer/teacher/author so please don't delete -Arbaz.chaudhary786 (talk) 10:32, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Arbaz.chaudhary786, this was deleted by two admins, Jimfbleak and RHaworth. I'll be honest that I think that it's unlikely that they will restore the page, given that it was only comprised of photographs of the person in question, likely yourself. I also note that in another edit you added your personal contact details. In order to show that a person passes WP:NBIO you have to show where they have received coverage in independent and reliable sources like newspapers. It's fairly rare for the average person to achieve this notability, so don't feel badly if you don't pass. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:47, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

Sir Philip Grey Egerton

1. No reason was given for the deletion that can make any sense. 2. i reported that the said was a "large landowner" which was perfectly factually correct. The ....iron Username that proposed deletion did not contact or discuss any proposed deletion first of all, before unilaterally hacking out someone else's article. 4. I have been the victim on hundreds of my articles over a ten year periodn of Persistent Vandalism of my articles by ignorants NOT PROVIDING satisfactory rational explanation for their conduct. -Justin Grant-Duff 11:00, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Graeme Bartlett, I'm a little concerned over this and I do have to give a bit of a warning to @Jgrantduff:. Justin, you've been warned in the past about asserting WP:OWNERSHIP in the past by Scolaire and @NeilN: has warned you about making personal attacks against other editors. You need to assume good faith about changes and if you genuinely believe that someone is following you and vandalizing your articles, you need to bring this up at WP:ANI. I will warn you, making comments like this are seen as personal attacks and are not appropriate for Wikipedia, and will likely work against you. I do have to note that some of the edits may have been based around concerns over the information being seen as incorrect, like in this case from January where @PamD: asked you to comment at Talk:Sir John Auld Mactaggart, 4th Baronet about some potential inconsistencies with the article you created.
Graeme, I somewhat get the impression that what Justin is complaining about isn't with this article, but likely another article and he maybe got the two confused? Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:59, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
  • Looks like you found the article they were talking about, so I'm striking that last comment. Justin, my comments about assuming good faith and not asserting ownership are still applicable, though. I know that it's easy to grow attached to an article and we've all had it happen where we see articles as "ours" and resent changes, but you really shouldn't refer to articles as "yours" and you should assume better faith with other editors. Avik Gangopadhyay

I, DeepChatterjee123, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Now I can edit my page with neutral resources for more authenticity. DeepChatterjee123 (talk) 12:14, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

@DeepChatterjee123:   Not done - this page cannot be restored because it is a copyright violation, copied from https://sites.google.com/site/authoravikgangopadhyay/home/avik-gangopadhyay. Please read Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources. In any case, an encyclopedia article should not be based on what the subject says about himself, but on what others say about him. You need to write in your own words, avoiding a promotional tone and citing reliable published sources for what you say. You may find User:JohnCD/Not a noticeboard helpful.
