This article about the wagon train disaster has been expanded by nearly 10x in the past few days. User:Karanacs, User:Malleus Fatuorum, and I are working toward getting this to GA and FA. The only thing that jumped out at me was the last paragraph of Background, where the montains are mostly described in the past tense, which is very odd. The mountains still exist, no?
