Vistula Veneti

edit

At User talk:ClueBot Commons, is this the sentence you are referring to: "The Licattii, the Clautenatii, and the Vennones proved to be the boldest warriors of all the Vindelici"? That does not say the Vennones were the single boldest warriors, and it doesn't belong in that precise place in the article (which is talking about names used for the tribe and locations), although I agree it would be nice to have it somewhere. I suggest you look for a better place to put that separate point, and afterwards post to the talk page for the article - Talk:Vistula Veneti - saying what you have done. It's good that you cite sources, but I also think you need to look again at the Latin - I don't think your first change was correct.

Follow the instructions on ClueBot's template - you'll find it in the History of this talk page - to report the bot's revert as a false positive; you were not vandalising. I apologise for the bot; it's a great piece of programming but that's all it is, so it does make mistakes.

I'm going to put a welcome template below with links to our policies and guidelines and ways to ask for help (one of which is the Teahouse, to which you've just been invited above. I'm glad you've joined us, sorry about the rough initial welcome. Yngvadottir (talk) 16:36, 5 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
