Your edits to Nocturnal emissions edit

I reverted your edits because I believed that they were an attempt at soapboxing. If I am incorrect, then please consider adding an edit summary to explain the reason for your edit. Better yet, a discussion on the article's talk page will allow other editors to air their views. Regards LittleOldMe (talk) 00:51, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry, but I still am not happy with your additions purporting to express the Christian viewpoint. I am a Christian and I am unable to ascertain whether the verses you quote would consider it sinful or not.
A married man separated from his wife, or not able to engage in intercourse with her because of childbirth, illness etc. has a dream about her and experiences a nocturnal emission. He wakes in the morning and discovers the evidence and has no recollection of the dream. What is the morality here. Is he supposed to pray for forgiveness or feel remorse for experiencing a natural phenomenon. Is he to wonder whether his dream was lust for a woman besides his wife.
Any scholarly discussion on the subject would be both interesting and controversial. I imagine that various viewpoints would need to be expressed and referenced.
Please feel free to join the discussion at Talk:Nocturnal_emission#Christian_views. LittleOldMe (talk) 12:04, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
