Hello edit

Welcome. I have given you some links that may help above. I will help if I can, though I must point you at conflict of interest page as you are connected with the subject you are editing. Keith D (talk) 19:11, 27 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Keith,

Thank you for your detailed response. The problem is that the information and logo are incorrect. I don't understand this wikipedia at all! Vicky Thevernn (talk) 10:34, 11 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

If the logo is incorrect then you will need to upload the correct one, but the logo we have looks like it is the one on the organisations web page. Keith D (talk) 23:27, 14 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is my stumbling block, I don't know how to upload the correct one. At a glance it may appear to be the correct logo is is not as the font underneath the image has changed and the CYMK of colours used is also different. It seems most peculiar that someone can write about an organisation they know little about. A very strange concept! The problem is that when other people are using the logo they are sourcing it from wikipedia on a google search. Thank you for you responses. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thevernn (talkcontribs) 11:44, 9 December 2010 ((UTC)

I have reverted as the image appears to have been uploaded at Commons with inappropriate licensing as the image is copyrighted and so can only be used under a fair use rational unless appropriate authority is given by the dressage association. Keith D (talk) 13:31, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Keith, thank you for your message. I trust that you have now received the authority from our association via email? Mail sent to: 'permissions-commons@wikimedia.org'

I am not in that position so someone else should be handing that. There appears to be some problem with the email not being sent from an account at the Dressage Association. take a look at the image note. Keith D (talk) 17:20, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Keith, please consider this as a formal request from British Dressage that you to refrain from posting our old logo, to which we own the rights, on this wikipedia page. If you wish to discuss this further please email me at victoriaevans@britishdressage.co.uk. Thevernn (talk) 17:29, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
