Youmacon

edit

Your edit to Youmacon has been reverted, though I have updated the information to reflect the current cited sources. However, please do not add unverified information that does not have a reliable published source, remove verified information that is based on a cited reliable source, or create a synthesis that the cited reliable source does not explicitly support. --Farix (Talk) 15:24, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Information cannot come directly from the convention because such information is unverifiable. It must be from a reliable published source so that the information can be checked and verified independently. If there is a mistake in the cited reliable source, then the mistake should be corrected at the source before can be correct on Wikipedia. Wikipedia. --Farix (Talk) 17:44, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
As for Emily DeJesus, the archived websites for Youmacon 2005 and 2007 does list her as a guest. That's about as verifiable as one can get. --Farix (Talk) 18:05, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Because the claim that they are "unique" to the convention can't be verified and already challenged by another editor and they actually belong in the Programming section as described at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga/Conventions#Organizing information. --Farix (Talk) 20:56, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
